Contract Engineering Technician

NOW HIRING! Goodwill TalentBridge is looking for 1 experienced Engineer Technician to work on a 6 month contract in Wheeling, IL. Competitive hourly pay-rate 1st shift hours M-F, no weekends! Responsibilities: Validate and run frequent / multiple tests for machinery collaborate, communicate and follow instructions with Lead Engineer on project Execute Lead Engineers plans Track progress, complete project reports, fill out test plans and other pieces of required documentation for project. Qualifications: Associates degree OR 2+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or technician work Testing experience required. Previous experience in drafting or engineering technician role preferred Strong technical writing skills for preparing reports and documentation Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain equipment Ability to work on a team Strong work ethic (Comes to work on time, does not accrue many absences, gets along well with coworkers and leadership).
