Position Overview: The Controller will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the organization, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. This position involves managing a team of finance professionals. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a proven track record in financial management. Key Responsibilities: 1- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly and annual financial statements. Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements. Present financial reports to senior management. 2 - Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash balances and cash forecasts. Manage banking relationships and ensure compliance with banking covenants. Optimize cash flow positions to support operational needs. 3 - Internal Controls and Compliance: Establish and maintain financial controls and procedures. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. 4 - Financial Analysis and Strategy: Conduct financial analysis, comparing results to budget and prior year. Evaluate financial performance and identify trends. Recommend improvements to financial processes and systems. 5- Team Leadership and Development: Manage and mentor the finance team. Provide coaching and professional development opportunities. Collaborate cross-functionally to achieve organizational goals. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation preferred. 10+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with 5+ years in a supervisory capacity. Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls. Experience with financial software and ERP systems; proficiency in MS Excel. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
