Hybrid Child, Adolescent, and Young Adult Psychiatrist Locums Job Outpatient Services in the Greater Los Angeles, California AreaDetails/Requirements: Needs starts as soon as credentialed and ongoing. Cover an intensive field-based program for the client's Child and Young Adult FSP program for at least 8 hours a week. This program is primarily field-based where the teams provide most services in the field and/or the patient's home. Need is for a psychiatrist who is able to come into the office part of the time. Many patients /families request in person appointments. Can definitely work with hybrid. At least 1-2 times a month in person would be ideal. Medication Support Services are provided in office and telehealth. Patient age range is 0-21 with typically very high needs. These patients have often had previous psychiatric hospitalizations or at risk of being hospitalized due to their increasing symptoms. Flexible re: days/hours worked between M-Th, 8:30-6 and F, 8:30-5. No call after scheduled hours. Client allows 90 minutes for initial evaluations and 30 minutes for medication follow ups. If needed, when a follow-up is new to the psychiatrist, then the Client will usually stretch the follow-up to 45 minutes to give them more time with the patient. Client has an electronic health record, EXYM, so candidates must be computer savvy. Takes approximately 4-5 weeks for credentialing. Client prefers 3-month minimum assignments, but the longer the better.
