US Deployment & Operations Manager Ammonia Power Systems
At Neology, we are building ammonia-based power systems to replace diesel generators in industrial environments. This is not a software or consulting role. It is hands-on, real-world deployment where reliability, safety, and execution matter. We are launching our first US deployments in Detroit and are looking for a US Deployment & Operations Manager to lead execution locally. ???? Role & ResponsibilitiesYou will ensure Neologys systems are installed, commissioned, and operating reliably in the field. Lead deployment and commissioning of systems in Detroit Coordinate site readiness (infrastructure, permitting, safety) Act as on-site technical lead (integration, testing, troubleshooting) Work with local contractors, partners, and authorities Interface with Neologys engineering team in Switzerland Support demos, pilots, and client interactions Travel within the US as deployments scale Candidate Profile5+ years of experience in energy systems, industrial equipment, or similar Hands-on experience with installation, commissioning, field operations Comfortable working in real-world industrial environments Experience in startup or scale-up (non-founder role) Structured, reliable, and able to operate autonomously Strong communication skills (clients, partners, stakeholders) Requirements:Based in or willing to relocate to Detroit Authorized to work in the US Willing to travel within the US and occasionally to Switzerland Strongly preferred:Experience with hydrogen, ammonia, or industrial gas systems Familiarity with the Detroit industrial / energy ecosystem What We OfferCompetitive US-based compensation (base salary, performance bonus, and equity participation) Initial ramp-up phase aligned with early deployments, transitioning to full-time as operations scale Health insurance (company-supported) 401(k) plan Paid time off + public holidays Why join:Lead the first US deployments of Neologys technology Work on real industrial systems, not theoretical R&D High ownership within a structured and focused team Clear path toward a broader US leadership role Exposure to projects and partners across the US, Europe, and Asia
