Hi,Role: Insurance Business Analyst- with Motor Fleet risk, P&C BackgroundLocation: Chicago, ILMode of work: HybridContractJob Responsibilities:Develop user stories for specific solution featuresWork with Product Owner to help prioritize and sequence phases of the program roadmapSolicit business input to iteratively refine project scope to effectively deliver desired business value within aggressive program timelinesDocumented requirement artifacts using industry standard diagram techniques to enhance the clarity of definition, including process flows, context diagrams, use cases, wireframes, etc.Set requirement baselines upon obtaining requirements package sign-off and support requirements change management, analyze impact and obtain change sign-off throughout company’s Technology Delivery Life Cycle (TDLC) frameworkPartner with tech leads and solution engineers to design solutions that satisfy business requirements and align with company technology principlesProviding guidance to User Acceptance Testing leads to ensure optimal test coverage (relying on own knowledge, as well as facilitating conversations with SMEs)Support Business Leads in execution of a roll-out strategy and change management plan for transition to the new platformQualifications:12+ yrs in the IT industry10+ in the Insurance vertical8+ as an Insurance BA in Motor Fleet Risk Insurance, P&C domain.Knowledge of Rating, Premium Calculation, Invoicing, underwriting and broking placement and claims processes.6+ in Agile development and handling business requirements and user stories as an independent BA Experience in Agile methodologies, Azure DevOpsMaster’s degree in business administrationProven track record of delivering Agile milestones which include user story definition, grooming, commitment, and deliveryExperience writing user stories following Agile Methodologies.Ability to gather, manage and document requirements, user stories and develop use casesAbility to work with technical resources to ensure accurate translation of specifications into workable application code.Understanding of Project Life CycleStrong Communication SkillsAct as a key interface between client stakeholder and development team.
