Job DescriptionJob Title: Human Resources Manager (Multi-Site)Location: Maine & New Hampshire (2 sites, ~2 hours apart)Travel: Regular travel required between both locationsPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and hands-on Human Resources Manager to oversee HR operations across two manufacturing facilities located in Maine and New Hampshire. This role requires a strong HR generalist background, the ability to operate independently across multiple sites, and a willingness to travel regularly (approximately 2 hours between locations).The HR Manager will partner closely with site leadership to drive key HR initiatives, ensure compliance, and support a positive, high-performance workplace culture.Key ResponsibilitiesLead all HR functions across two manufacturing sites, including employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, and complianceServe as a trusted advisor to plant leadership on HR strategies, workforce planning, and organizational developmentManage full-cycle recruiting efforts for hourly and salaried rolesEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulationsDrive employee engagement initiatives and foster a positive workplace cultureOversee performance management processes, coaching managers on best practicesSupport training and development programs to enhance workforce capabilitiesHandle employee relations matters, conducting investigations and resolving issues effectivelyMaintain HR policies, procedures, and reporting systemsPartner with leadership on compensation, benefits, and retention strategiesQualificationsBachelor's degree (BS/BA) requiredPHR, SPHR, or SHRM-SCP certification strongly preferred5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably within a manufacturing environmentDemonstrated experience supporting multiple locations or a distributed workforceStrong knowledge of employment law and HR best practicesExcellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skillsAbility to travel regularly between sites (approximately 2 hours apart)
