Job Profile SummaryWe are looking for a dedicated and skilled Application Service Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a variety of technical equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The Application Service Engineer will be expected to travel to client sites, diagnose issues, and implement effective solutions to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance of equipment. They will be assessing customer and business needs, debugging and testing software/hardware components. The engineer will use technical problem solving and electro-mechanical knowledge to evaluate, troubleshoot, modify, and test parts, components or assemblies for mechatronics equipment and other hardware systems.General ResponsibilitiesThis engineer will work closely with manufacturing and engineering personnel to support existing product lines, trouble shoot processes, and devices that are non-conforming to existing requirements. Working as a bridge between an organization’s engineering teams and its customers, Application Service Engineers set out to improve the overall functioning of the client’s devices. Overseeing testing to ensure new applications work as intended and making sure the device continues to work properly after maintenance and testing Implement effective solutions to minimize equipment downtime. Conduct performance tests to ensure equipment is functioning properly. Provide training and support to clients on equipment operation and maintenance. Deliver technical support and troubleshooting assistance to clients and maintaining strong relationships with clients. Communication skills to provide instructions to all parties included in the project and answer all questions a customer may have on how the system works Act as Operations liaison on design reviews and investigate and resolve technical issues throughout the build or customer centric needs and provide solutions to internal/external customers.Experience/QualificationsA Bachelors degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering and 4+ years of relevant work experienceHigh level understanding of drawing standards, formatting, and dimensioning included basic GD&TCreate/Implement GMP (Good Manufacturing Methods) with assemblies and manufacturing processSome traveling will be required for this roleMust be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demandsDemonstrates a serious commitment to accuracy and quality while meeting goals and deadlines Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentationStrong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve resultsStrong personal and professional ethical values and integrityHolds self-accountable to achieving goals and standardsProficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)Strong interpersonal & collaborationEqual Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Protected Veterans/Disabled
