This role is responsible for maintaining accurate and organized client records, while also supporting billing processes and assisting with authorization workflows.This position is a great fit for someone who is highly detail-oriented, organized, and interested in healthcare administration, insurance processes, and supporting team operations. You’ll work closely with team members across billing, authorization, and intake to help ensure processes run smoothly and efficiently.Join our team at Kids on the Move and help us continue to empower families, one child at a time.Requirements & ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate and up-to-date client records within internal systemsAudit files for completeness and compliance and coordinate document collection as neededEnsure proper organization and accessibility of client records and documentationAssist with insurance verification and perform ongoing eligibility and benefit checks, including routine Medicaid verificationSupport claims tracking, follow-up, and payment posting processesHelp monitor aging reports and flag claims requiring follow-upAssist with preparation, submission, and tracking of authorizationsMaintain accurate records of authorization timelines, renewals, and documentationProvide cross-functional support across billing, authorization, and intake workflowsAssist with maintaining tracking tools and internal documentationCommunicate professionally with insurance representatives, staff, and familiesEnsure compliance with HIPAA, payer requirements, and organizational policiesQualificationsRequired:High school diploma or equivalent1-2 years of experience in healthcare administration, insurance, billing, or related fieldWorking knowledge of medical insurance terminology and processesStrong organizational skills and attention to detailProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Effective written and verbal communication skillsPreferred:Experience with EMR systems, billing platforms, or clearinghouse toolsBilingual in SpanishScheduleFull-time, Monday-FridayStandard business hours with some flexibility as neededHybrid/remote eligible, with occasional travel to the Orem officeBenefitsComprehensive health, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and holiday pay401(k) with employer matchOpportunities for growth and cross-training within Revenue ServicesSupportive, team-oriented work environmentWe may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses.
