Assistant Controller – Elkhart, IN (Fully Onsite)Salary: $100K–$120K + BonusWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Controller to join a growing manufacturing organization in Elkhart, IN. This fully onsite role offers strong visibility within the organization and a clear succession path to VP of Finance within approximately two years for candidates open to relocation.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with oversight of daily accounting and finance operationsManage and participate in the full month-end close process, including financial reporting and reconciliationsAnalyze manufacturing costs, inventory, and operational performance metricsSupport budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activitiesEnsure accuracy of cost accounting and maintain strong internal controlsPartner cross-functionally with operations and leadership teams to improve financial processes and reportingAssist in driving process improvements and operational efficienciesQualifications3–5 years of accounting or finance experience, preferably within a manufacturing environmentExperience managing full month-end close responsibilitiesStrong understanding of cost accounting and manufacturing cost detailsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferredStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsSelf-starter with leadership potential and interest in long-term career growthWillingness to relocate in the future for advancement into a VP of Finance roleThis is an excellent opportunity for an emerging finance leader looking for long-term growth, mentorship, and executive-level career progression.#INMAY2026 #accounting #accountant #controller #asstcontroller #assistantcontrollerClick here to apply online
