This role involves maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our facility grounds, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment. The Grounds Keeper will work under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager and assist with various cleaning, organizing and maintenance tasks.Summary of essential job functionsMow lawns, trim edges, and maintain landscaping around the facility.Remove weeds, debris, and litter from grounds and parking areas.Snow removal, shovel, salt and plow snowAssist with the maintenance and repair of outdoor equipment and tools.Organize, paint and clean inside/outside of facilityPerform routine inspections of the grounds to identify and address any issues.Support the Maintenance Manager with other tasks and projects as required.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Previous experience in groundskeeping or landscaping (preferred).Ability to operate lawn mowers, trimmers, Hilo and other landscaping and snow removal equipment.Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks.Ability to work independently and follow instructions.Physical stamina to perform outdoor tasks in various weather conditions.Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).Performance MetricsTask CompletionProductivity / EfficiencyQuality of workTeamworkSafe Work HabitsDependabilityWorking Conditions:Work is performed outdoors with exposure to varying weather conditions.Must be able to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periodsTravel: NoneDisclaimer
