Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Pipe Layer located in Martin County, FL. The Pipe Layer will be responsible for installing, aligning, and connecting pipes for various utility systems such as water, sewage, and storm drainage. Responsibilities include preparing trenches, leveling and positioning pipes, assembling and sealing pipe joints, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards. The Pipe Layer will also work collaboratively with other construction team members on site. Qualifications Experience with pipe installation, including aligning, connecting, and sealing pipe systemsFamiliarity with reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, and construction plansKnowledge of operating tools and equipment such as trenchers, pipe cutters, and compactorsDemonstrated understanding of safety protocols and site proceduresEffective communication skills and ability to collaborate with team membersAbility to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting, digging, and working in varying weather conditionsPrior experience in construction or infrastructure projects is preferredHigh school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certifications in pipe laying or construction are a plus
