Explore Pinon here.ResponsibilitiesAssess and act on significant changes in the patient's health condition.Perform assigned delegated tasks.Collect and document pertinent data into the electronic system.Communicates and treats all patients and/or families in a courteous, tactful, and respectful manner.Identify and act on predictable needs of the patient.Meet the health care needs of patient by assessing and assisting the patient to meet expressed needs.Meet the emotional and spiritual needs of patients and/or families.Prioritize and complete tasks within the RN's assigned shift.Notify assigned provider of any changes in condition and update patient care plans.Report incidents of verbal or physical abuse immediately to the Nurse Manager of the unit they are assigned.Administer medication including IVs in the event of an emergency.Measure vital signs in the event of an emergency.Obtain and deliver specimens to lab.Educate patients and/or families regarding vaccines.Activate the Emergency Medical Response as indicated based on patient presentation or change in conditionRespond and assist in an emergency.Perform Continuous Protective Observation (CPO) duties to maintain patient safety.Provide clinical oversight to Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants and Health Technicians.RequirementsMust have 36 months of nursing experience and/or ER experience with a minimum of twelve months.Must hold an active, current, and unrestricted (unflagged) state NP or PA license from any of the Fifty (50) United States or the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.Mandatory Certification: Current BLS and ACLS is Mandatory for Urgent Clinic Coverage. The ATLS is optional.Must have a valid, unrestricted DEA with schedules II-V.Current certification in BLS, ACLS, AND PALS. Must have current state driver's license.Cannot be under exclusions or sanctions from the Medicare / Medicaid programs.Must have received and will maintain national certification in Family Practice throughout the duration of this contract period of performance.Must fulfill all the requirements for appointment to the Medical Staff and for the granting of privileges, in accordance with Client policies and with the Pine Ridge Service Unit Medical Staff By-Laws.TermsThis position is currently set at 6 weeks, with extensions available.KurzSolutions is committed to improving health outcomes by providing well-managed companies with the top healthcare talent in the market.
