Manufacturing Execution System Development Engineer

Duration 05 Months (Possibility of extension/conversion based on performance and budget) Client One of the largest Data Storage Devices manufacturers in the US Overview We are looking for a System Development Engineer who will be reporting to Global Manufacturing IT team and remains involved in Support and project development for Automation, MES & Manufacturing related applications including design, development, implementation, maintenance and support. Duties Involve in Support and project development for Automation, MES & Manufacturing related applications including design, development, implementation, maintenance and support. Work with business to define manufacturing business specification and requirement. Manage applications system uptime to ensure application is optimum and available to all end users in the manufacturing floor. Participate in solution research and development works for new technology insertion. Perform application performance monitoring and implement continuous improvement of applications. Qualifications Master or Bachelor in Computer Science / Information Technology - this is a requirement 3-5 years of working experience in a Multinational Corporation (MNC) with IT software development experience Knowledge in System Analysis Methodology and System Development Possess excellent project coordination and database troubleshooting skill An analytical mind and inclination for problem-solving Sense of responsibility Preferably in the manufacturing electronics sector with experience in IT Manufacture domain. Knowledge of Manufacturing Execution System, equipment integration, transaction automation & parametric data integration will be added advantage. Knowledge of Java Programming, AS400, Linux, and Data Integration Services will be added advantage. Extensive experience in SQL query and database design.
