Basic Qualifications High School Diploma or GED plus fourteen (14) years of general systems engineering experience. OR, Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field (Aeronautics, Biomedical, Chemical, Civil,Computer, Electrical, Environmental, Mechanical, Nuclear, Software, Systems, and Engineering Management) or a related discipline (Chemistry, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, and Physics) from anaccredited college or university plus ten (10) years of systems engineering experience. OR, Master’s degree or PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field (Aeronautics, Biomedical, Chemical, Civil,Computer, Electrical, Environmental, Mechanical, Nuclear, Software, Systems, and Engineering Management) or a related discipline (Chemistry, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, and Physics) from anaccredited college or university plus eight (8) years of systems engineering experience Agile Project Management expertise with hands‑on SAFe/Scrum experience and utilization of Jira & Confluence. Strong communication, facilitation, and impediment‑removal skills; adept at leading meetings, documenting outcomes, and aligning teams with senior leadership. Deep understanding of the customer’s data‑flow architecture and ability to translate vague requirements into prioritized, actionable development tasks. Proven track record in release planning, sprint reviews, Scrum‑of‑Scrums, and managing Git workflows (commits, merges, pushes). Experience guiding enterprise‑scale software development teams, providing technical feedback, and maintaining excellent time‑management and organization. The role will work directly with the customer to identify, capture and service new and sometimes ambiguous requirements while also keeping an eye out for new opportunities for the program in support of the customer.
