Auto Mechanic
**Job Summary:**
AMcomm Incorperated is seeking an experienced Auto Mechanic to join our team. The Auto Mechanic will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of automotive systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality service to our customers.
**Qualifications:**
High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience as an Auto Mechanic
Certification from a vocational school or completion of an apprenticeship program
Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues
Strong attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
Valid driver's license
**Responsibilities:**
Perform routine maintenance on vehicles, such as oil changes and tire rotations
Inspect vehicle systems, including brakes, engines, and transmissions
Identify mechanical problems, utilizing diagnostic equipment
Repair or replace faulty parts, such as alternators, water pumps, and brake pads
Test drive vehicles to ensure repairs are successful
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance services
**Physical Requirements:**
Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
Manual dexterity for handling tools and equipment
Good vision and hand-eye coordination
**Work Environment:**
Work in a garage or auto repair shop setting
Exposure to loud noises, fumes, and hazardous materials
May need to work in varying weather conditions
