Systems Engineer

We are partnering with a growing organization in the Wayne, PA area that is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to support and enhance a complex hybrid infrastructure environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in Tier III support, enjoys solving high-level infrastructure challenges, and has strong experience across Microsoft cloud and on‑prem technologies. This position will play a key role in maintaining enterprise infrastructure operations, supporting cloud initiatives, improving system performance, and driving modernization efforts across the environment. Responsibilities Provide Tier III infrastructure support across enterprise systems and cloud platforms Administer and optimize Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud environments Manage and support Windows Server infrastructure, Active Directory, Office 365, DNS, and DHCP services Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, networking, and system performance issues across on‑prem and cloud environments Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate operational and administrative tasksSupport virtualization platforms and related infrastructure technologies Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and system improvements Monitor system health, availability, and performance while proactively addressing issues Assist with security initiatives, patch management, and infrastructure hardening efforts Participate in infrastructure planning, disaster recovery, and business continuity initiatives Document configurations, procedures, and technical solutions to support operational excellence Required Qualifications Strong experience supporting Microsoft Azure environments Hands‑on expertise with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Office 365 Experience supporting hybrid cloud infrastructure environments Advanced troubleshooting experience within enterprise infrastructure environments Strong PowerShell scripting and automation capabilities Experience with DNS, DHCP, and virtualization technologies Proven ability to provide Tier III infrastructure support in a fast‑paced environment Strong communication skills with the ability to work across technical and business teams Preferred Qualifications Experience with Microsoft Sentinel and Microsoft Defender Familiarity with Azure DevOps and Kubernetes Experience supporting MSSQL environments Exposure to enterprise monitoring and observability tools Previous consulting or client‑facing experience is a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr
