Associate Attorney

Job Description Job Summary Plaintiff's litigation boutique law firm in West Los Angeles/Brentwood seeks an associates attorney with a minimum of 2+ years of litigation experience. The law firm practices in the areas of plaintiff's wage & hour class action, legal malpractice, and individual employment. The candidate should have litigation experience and exceptional writing skills. Friendly working environment, no billing requirements, and must be motivated and have a passion for helping consumers. Salary will be based on experience.Responsibilities* Prepare briefs, motions, and other legal documents * Conduct legal research * Prepare for and attend legal proceedings * Provide legal counsel in conjunction with senior associates * Negotiate on behalf of clients * Maintain detailed and accurate client recordsQualifications* Successful completion of a Juris Doctor (J.D. degree) from an accredited law school and bar exam * Active member of the American Bar Association (ABA) * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills * Ability to collaborate with colleagues to best serve clients
