You will serve as a sounding board, a technical guide, and an advocate for nature-based solutions that protect Rwanda’s most vulnerable communities.Key Advisory Responsibilities.Depending on your specific expertise, you may contribute to one or more of the following areas:Strategic Program Design: Advise on the development and refinement of community-led projects, such as reforestation with indigenous species, terracing to prevent erosion, or climate-smart agriculture techniques.Nature-Based Solutions (NbS) Evaluation: Review our current interventions through the lens of ecological integrity, ensuring that our \"resilience\" work genuinely regenerates biodiversity and restores natural systems.Community-Centered Innovation: Help us integrate indigenous knowledge with modern sustainable practices (e.g., agroecology, rainwater harvesting, renewable energy) in a way that is culturally respectful and locally owned.Resource Mobilization & Partnerships: Leverage your network to identify funding opportunities, materials, or technical partnerships that align with our mission.Knowledge Translation: Help bridge the gap between complex climate science and accessible, actionable information for smallholder farmers and local leaders.Who We Are Looking For?We value passion and lived experience as much as formal credentials.
