Overview
As Staff Software Engineer on Platform Engineering, you will help build the next generation of AI-powered testing tools and infrastructure for Snapchat’s mobile apps and multi-cloud backend services. You’ll own scalable testing platforms, agent harnesses, and telemetry-driven debugging, shaping how engineers ship reliable software faster. You’ll collaborate across product, DS, ML, design, and engineering teams to turn requirements into robust, observable systems. ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and own agent harnesses and testing infrastructure to enable functional and load testing across mobile apps and multi-cloud servicesDevelop AI-native engineering practices by creating reusable skills, looped/scheduled agents, and automated ops tasksArchitect Temporal-based workflows and services to accelerate bug detection and CI/CD resilienceCreate telemetry and evaluation layers using BigQuery SQL and log data to yield actionable insightsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to align on requirements, trade-offs, and deliver scalable platform solutionsPromote availability, scalability, and cost-efficient operational excellence across the platform
