A leading semiconductor equipment manufacturing is seeking a EHS Specialist.【Location】Austin & Taylor Texas 【Positions】HSE Specialist Semiconductor Industrial Equipment Automation【Compensation】$100K-$115K annual 【Benefits】Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO and more【Hiring Style】Direct hiring, Full-timeJob Description: • Policy Development and Compliance• Create, update, and enforce health and safety policies, procedures, and programs aligned withlocal, state, federal, and industry regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA).• Incorporate customer site-specific safety requirements, rules, tribal knowledge, and best practicesinto all documentation, risk assessments, and operational protocols.• Conduct regular compliance audits and risk assessments to identify hazards in workplaceenvironments, equipment, and processes.• Ensure seamless integration of client-specific standards, on-site tribal knowledge (e.g., criticalunwritten insights from long-term personnel or local teams), and culturally or geographicallyunique safety practices.Risk Management and Inspections:• Perform on-site inspections, hazard evaluations, and environmental impact assessments.• Recommend corrective actions, equipment upgrades, or process changes to eliminate orminimize risks, including those related to ergonomics, chemical handling, and emergencypreparedness.Training and Education:• Design and deliver safety training programs for employees on topics such as emergencyprocedures, workplace hazards, PPE usage, and incident reporting.• Track training completion and evaluate program effectiveness through KPIs like incident ratesand employee feedback.Incident Investigation and Reporting• Lead investigations into accidents, near-misses, and environmental incidents to determine rootcauses.• Develop preventive measures, maintain detailed records, and prepare reports for regulatoryagencies, management, and insurance purposes.Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or arelated field.• Advanced certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist(CIH), or NEBOSH Diploma are highly preferred.• Minimum of 5 years in health and safety roles.• Proven track record in high-risk environments (e.g., manufacturingWork Location: Taylor, TX and Austin TX Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9-6pm*Client fab experience required 5x in office / client site (Taylor) per week
