Job Description
The Customer Service Representative (CSR) supports the Sales Team and customers by providing timely and accurate product and service information. This role plays a vital part in managing customer accounts, resolving issues, and ensuring positive customer experience through effective communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities Include
Serve customers and sales staff by providing product/service information and resolving issues
Maintain and update customer accounts accurately
Resolve customer concerns by clarifying the issue, identifying solutions, and communicating resolutions clearly
Build strong working relationships with assigned customers and internal reps
Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Provide flexible support to other departments as needed
Communicate with professionalism, maintaining a positive and friendly attitude
Maintain confidentiality of company and customer proprietary information
Other duties as assigned
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in distribution or manufacturing
High School Diploma or GED
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Professional phone etiquette and active listening abilities
Experience in conflict resolution and order tracking/follow-up
Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
Familiarity with order entry systems and documentation practices
Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently
