We are currently seeking a Process Control Engineer to support automation, process reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives across multiple production facilities.This is a high impact, hands-on engineering role focused on PLC programming, process optimization, and plant troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment. This hire will influence automation strategy and modernization efforts for the organization.Role Highlights:Program, configure, and troubleshoot PLCs (Allen Bradley), HMIs, and control networksSupport reactor and batch process control systems in a chemical manufacturing environmentLead root cause analysis for process upsets, alarms, and automation bottlenecksOptimize PID control loops and improve system performancePartner with Operations, Maintenance, E&I, Quality, and Engineering teams to improve uptime and reliabilityUpdate and maintain electrical schematics, P&IDs, and control documentationSupport Management of Change (MOC) initiatives related to automation and process controlsDrive automation upgrades, standardization, and modernization projectsProvide technical leadership on controls architecture, networking and system integrationParticipate in on-call rotation supporting plant operations when necessaryBackground/ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Chemical, Electrical, Automation, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience)3+ years of hands-on PLC programming and troubleshooting in a manufacturing environmentStrong working knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC hardware and software (highly preferred)Experience with HMIs, instrumentation, electrical systems, and industrial networkingUnderstanding of PID control, process automation, and continuous improvement methodologiesAbility to work onsite and support multiple production facilitiesIf you enjoy being the go-to automation expert inside a manufacturing plant and thrive on solving real-time process challenges, this is a strong next step for your career.
