Introduction Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their comprehensive, boutique-style small animal practice. The hospital provides full-service care to dogs and cats, including wellness, surgery, advanced diagnostics, and emergency care. This opportunity is open to veterinarians of all experience levels, offering a supportive and collaborative environment focused on clinical excellence and personalized patient care. Working Hours / Rota The position offers full-time or part-time flexibility. The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Saturday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and is closed on Sundays. Role Description and Responsibilities The Associate Veterinarian will manage a varied small animal caseload including preventative care, advanced diagnostic workups, medical case management, surgical procedures, and urgent care cases. Responsibilities include performing nose-to-tail wellness exams, interpreting diagnostic testing, conducting routine and advanced surgical procedures, and maintaining strong communication with clients to ensure informed decision-making. The role emphasizes personalized care, collaboration with the team, and adherence to high standards of medical practice. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates. Practice Details This boutique-style small animal hospital offers Wellness & Prevention, Testing & Diagnostics, Advanced Care, and Surgical Procedures. The practice focuses on comprehensive care across all stages of small animal health, combining preventative medicine with advanced diagnostic and surgical capabilities.
