Weekend Pharmacy Fill Techinician

Korman Healthcare, a closed door pharmacy, is looking for talented & reliable individuals for the Fill Department. Schedule is Saturday and Sunday 10am to6pm. Responsibilities Under direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, prepares medication, maintains the compounding area and equipment and monitors inventory Assists the pharmacists in the preparation and labeling of medications as allowed by law Prepares sterile parenterals following appropriate sterile technique Conducts quality control and sterility testing Orders, received and stores medications and supplies Maintains pharmacy records including filing and document ting required information on compounding records Participates in quality Improvement activities as directed Tracks patient supply levels and assist with delivery schedule Generates pharmacy labels where allowed by law Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor or the Director of Pharmacy Timeliness and accuracy with medication preparation Feedback of internal and external customers Demonstrates clinical knowledge and application of skills within scope of practice Ability to track and resolve medication related issues and communicate effectively to immediate supervisor Maintenance of pharmacy files within established state and federal guidelines Qualifications Familiarity with medical terminology Good communication skills Good organization skills Minimum High School diploma *******Current Arizona Pharmacy Technician License is a MUST******** Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $20.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee discount Flexible schedule Health insurance Paid sick time Paid time off Paid training Vision insurance Schedule: Every weekend Work Location: In person
