Job DetailsDescriptionINNOVIM is seeking a Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) Engineer to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract.Location: Schriever Space Force Base, Colorado Springs, CORelocation Assistance: None available at this timeShift: Day shiftTravel Required: Up to 10% of the timeThe Candidate WillDrive culture and adoption of MBSE and Digital Engineering (DE) throughout the organization by promoting the use of MBSE/DE and providing training and support to the teams.Develop standard work and business operating procedures.Create formal processes for applying MBSE and DE within the program.Collaborate with cross-functional teams by working closely with various engineering disciplines and departments to ensure acohesive and integrated system design and digital environment.Communicate complex engineering technical information to team members of various backgrounds and disciplines.Support Enterprise SEs to incorporate Model-based Systems Engineering practices and peer review SE program guidance.Basic RequirementsMust have 10, or more, years of general (full-time) work experience, which may be reduced with completion of advanced educationMust have 5, or more, years of directly related systems engineering (or relevant experience)Must have 6, or more, months of experience working in a management or leadership roleMust have an active DoD Secret Security ClearanceDesired RequirementsHave a Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in IT or any STEM related fieldHave knowledge of systems engineering frameworks (e.g. DoDAF, UAF, TOGAF)Have knowledge of modeling languages (e.g. SySML, UML)Have experience using model-based SE tools (DOORs, Cameo, Rhapsody, etc.)This position is expected to pay $130,000 – $145,000 annually, depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.INNOVIM is committed to providing superior work in the fields of science, engineering, data analytics and technology to government agencies.
