Mobile Fleet Mechanic

ChampionX has an immediate need for a Mobile Fleet Mechanic located in North Dakota. This position is primarily responsible for providing maintenance of any type of heavy duty vehicle used to deliver chemicals to customers, plants, and/or warehouse locations. This is your opportunity to join a large growing company offering a competitive base hourly rate and benefits.What's in it For You:You will join a growing company offering competitive pay and benefitsAccess to best-in-class resources, tools, and technologyOpportunity for a long term, advanced career pathA culture that values safety first, including training and personal protectionComprehensive benefits package (Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and much more) that starts Day 1What You Will Do:Servicing all types of delivery and treating trucks.Inspect all heavy duty vehicles once a monthPerform scheduled maintenance on all delivery vehiclesPerform field repairs as neededTake part in planning and scheduling repairs in daily ops meetingMaintain ChampionX policy inspection maintenance recordsKeeps current on safety techniques and take advantage of all opportunities to improve driving and safety skillsRecognize and avoid safety hazards in the work environmentAssist in any emergency that may need mechanical knowledgeEnsure equipment is safe and in proper working order including scheduling of preventative maintenanceAdhere to company policies and follow Standard Operating Procedure per job taskWear required personal protection equipment (PPE) at all times during job tasksEnsure a safe work environment, promote a safety culture, and deliver safety training (weekly), etc.Manage all fleet equipment and maintenance needsDirecting all fleet mechanics and maintenance activities to ensure all repair and maintenance work is performed safely, efficiently, and timely.Managing monthly OPEX on repair and maintenanceManage and perform inventory tasksEnsure all partners in the supply chain are working effectively and efficiently to ensure smooth operations and maintenance.Position Details:* This position will be based in Williston or Dickinson, ND. Will require possible travel to locations in the field for repairs.Minimum Qualifications:Minimum high school graduate or GED2 years diesel mechanic experienceAcceptable motor vehicle record (3 years)Immigration sponsorship not offered for this roleMust be 21 years of age or older to operate company vehicleMust be comfortable working with cameras in the truck cabAll candidates must have the ability to speak, read, and write EnglishPhysical Demands* Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs.* Role is deemed safety-sensitive and may be subject to employer or customer drug testingPreferred Qualifications:5 years diesel mechanic experienceChemical pump and plumbing knowledgeKnowledge of vehicle electrical, hydraulic, and chassis systemsHave certifications in brake, CVSA, and A/C systemsKnowledge of use of diagnostic software (ADOC, INSITE)Experience working on hydraulic pumps, and PTOAwareness of chemical safety and the measures to take in the event of skin contact or spillClass A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL), issued by the state in which the candidate resides with all the relevant endorsements (X - Hazmat & Tanker)About ChampionXChampionX is a global leader in providing chemistry programs and services, drilling technology, artificial lift solutions, and automation technologies for the upstream and midstream oil and gas industry.
