Inventory Analyst

JOB SUMMARY:As an Inventory Analyst, the primary responsibility will be to maintain the accuracy and efficiency of inventoried items. This position holds a crucial role in ensuring streamlined organizational operations and accurate inventory control, through experience and high attention to detail.EDUCATION:Required: High school diploma or GEDPreferred: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related fieldEXPERIENCE:Required: 2+ years of experience in an inventory management rolePOSITION REQUIREMENT(S): Specialized Skills/License/CertificationRequired:Advanced understanding and experience in inventory management in a production environmentStrong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detailAbility to handle changing priorities and use good judgment in stressful situationsAbility to organize and maintain a safe and clean work environmentEffective in collaborating with other internal departments to achieve goalsCORE COMPETENCIES (Essential Job Functions)Show ownership of warehouse accuracyVisually and systematically enter outside products into X3Investigate returned product, work with Customer Care to make accurate system adjustmentsReceive incoming Raw Material into inventoryConfirm product locations when issues arise dailyPerform spot checks weekly, and make corrections where necessaryPerform cycle counts quarterly, and make corrections where necessaryCoordinate and ensure the correct distribution of finished goods and raw materials to correct location bins, meeting company regulatory standardsEnsure compliance of all bar code scanning requirements during the inventory and shipping processesEnsure all material is stored properly and at the right temperature according to product specificationsEnsure standardization and implementation of best practices across all warehouse and distribution functionsOrganize and Lead Year End Inventory teams, and see inventory through to completionComplete other duties and special projects upon request
