We are seeking an experienced Procurement Analyst to provide contracting support services to a U.S. military contracting office specializing in construction, architectural-engineering (A&E), and facility sustainment acquisitions.This is a full-time, on-site position supporting a high-visibility mission. You will work directly alongside government contracting professionals, managing a diverse portfolio of acquisitions from cradle to grave — from pre-award planning through post-award administration and closeout.If you have a background in government construction contracting and want to do meaningful, mission-driven work in a structured and collaborative environment, this role is built for you.What You'll DoSupport pre-award and post-award procurement activities across a range of contract types, with a focus on construction, A&E services, and Sustainment, Restoration, and Modernization (SRM) and Military Construction (MILCON) projectsConduct market research and analysis to determine procurement approach, small business applicability, and appropriate contracting methodsReview and revise Performance Work Statements (PWS), Statements of Work (SOW), and Statements of Objectives (SOO) for clarity, compliance, and completenessPrepare contract modification documents, analyze price and cost elements, and support formal audits when requiredReview and track contractor invoices for accuracy; maintain spreadsheets and contract filesSupport source selection activities, including development of evaluation criteria and documentation of bid/quote evaluationsPerform contract closeout actions in Paperless Contract Files (PCF) and PIEEPrepare solicitation documents, arrange pre-proposal conferences, and compile protest documentation when neededMaintain organized contract files and track acquisition milestones and deliverablesAssist with data entry, PowerPoint briefings, and Excel-based tracking toolsRequired QualificationsDemonstrated experience working in government construction acquisition (federal contracting environment)Strong knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and DoD/Air Force contracting regulationsExperience with contract formation and administration, including pre-award and post-award functionsFamiliarity with SRM and MILCON project contractingWorking knowledge of various contract types and price/cost analysis methodsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlinesStrong written and verbal communication skillsMust be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC) and pass a Tier 1 (T1) background investigationMust be able to work on-site at Selfridge ANGB Monday through Friday within a standard 8-hour shift window (0600–1730)Preferred QualificationsDAWIA Foundational/Level I certification (or equivalent) in ContractingBachelor's degree in Business or a related disciplineExperience with the Army Contract Writing System (ACWS)Experience coordinating procurement activities across pre-award, post-award, and other acquisition lifecycle functionsFamiliarity with PIEE, PCF, and other DoD procurement platformsWork Environment & ScheduleFull-time, on-site — remote work is not available for this positionStandard 8-hour shift, Monday through Friday, within the 0600–1730 windowWork performed at Selfridge Air National Guard Base, 43200 Maple Street, Harrison Township, MI 48045Installation access required; government background check and base pass process applySteel-toed boots and basic PPE required in applicable areas per OSHA standardsWhy Join UsWork on meaningful defense acquisition supporting the U.S. Air National GuardStable, long-term engagement with potential for multi-year continuityCollaborative team environment alongside experienced government contracting professionalsBuild or deepen your government construction contracting resume in a high-trust, mission-critical setting
