Department: CommercialEmployment Type: Full TimeLocation: New YorkCompensation: $80,000 / yearDescriptionJoin our Events Sales team as a Business Development Manager, supporting the growth of events for legal professionals and organizations.You will play a key role in supporting overall revenue growth while building foundational sales experience in a growing business.Key ResponsibilitiesWorking closely with the Content Lead and Sales Managers, you will help to devise and execute the go to market plan for your dedicated events; Generating new business through research using our extensive sister products, client communication and follow-up; Selling sponsorship for allocated events; Learning more about the brand through reading our news services in order to offer tailored products to both new and existing clients; Developing and maintaining contact with potential clients via email, telephone communication and face-to-face meetings; Creating and implementing a sales plan for products to meet sales targets; Pitching to clients and leads in a bespoke manner, ensuring that you always provide a high level of customer service. Skills Knowledge and ExpertiseMinimum of 1-3 years of sales experience, event sales experience in legal is idealExcellent negotiation and communication skills, in particular a highly professional telephone manner.
