The report contains information on security policies as well as crime and fire statistics for the University.Career Services Student Intern (Pleasantville Campus)The job functions and responsibilities for this role include the following:Support all front desk tasks including responding to student, alumni, and employer questions via phone, email, or within the Career Services officeWork with our experienced team of counselors to provide services to students and recent alumni from the following Pace University schools: Dyson College of Arts and Sciences, Lubin School of Business, School of Education, College of Health Professions, and Seidenberg School of Computer and Information Systems.Support workshops and programs for the current semester assist with event logistics for the Career FairAssist in the recording of internship and job outcomes in Handshake and ExcelInteract effectively across various technology platforms including Handshake, uConnect, Zoom, and Microsoft OfficeLearning Outcomes Include:Apply the theory and knowledge learned inside the classroom to practical application and skills development within Career ServicesDevelop knowledge of career preparation in higher educationDevelop in proficiencies of in Microsoft Office, Handshake, uConnect, ZoomStrengthen in written and verbal communication skillsLearn to deliver best practices in customer serviceDeepen organizational skillsCOLLEGE WORK STUDY IS REQUIRED.Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and ExcelMust be able to handle confidential information in a discreet mannerStrong written and verbal communication skillsReliable and patient with visitorsOffice experience a plusAbility to work independentlyStrong customer service and organizational skills
