Location: Show Low, ArizonaSchedule: Full-Time, On-SiteSTS Technical Services is hiring an A&P Hangar-Based Fixed Wing / Helicopter Aviation Maintenance Technician to support an industry-leading air medical transport program in Show Low, Arizona. This position offers long-term stability, excellent benefits, and performance-based bonuses while maintaining aircraft that directly support life-saving missions.Bonus Information$2,000 Sign-On Bonus$5,000 Retention BonusCompetitive pay for qualified candidates (based on experience and offer terms)Key ResponsibilitiesPerform maintenance, inspection, modification, and repair on airframes, rotors, propellers, engines, and appliancesCoordinate with the Lead Maintenance Technician to plan and schedule workCommunicate with flight crews to ensure aircraft readiness and operational safetyMaintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and parts usageManage calibrated tools, equipment inspections, and documentationMaintain base facilities and equipment in compliance with company standardsEnsure adherence to FAA regulations, maintenance manuals, and safety proceduresPerform additional duties as assignedRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentValid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) CertificateMinimum of 3 years of turbine rotorcraft or fixed-wing maintenance experienceStrong understanding of FARs and maintenance documentation proceduresExcellent troubleshooting and communication skillsInspection Authorization (IA) and/or Part 135 experience preferredExperience with Pilatus PC-12 or Bell-407 aircraft a major advantagePhysical RequirementsLift up to 50 pounds unassistedStand, walk, kneel, climb, and bend for extended periodsWork safely in both indoor and outdoor environments with varying temperatures and noise levelsSchedule & Work ConditionsFull-time, on-site positionVariable schedule based on program requirementsOn-call availability and overtime may be requiredAbout STS Technical ServicesSTS Technical Services is a Top 100 Staffing Firm that partners with leading organizations across aviation, defense, manufacturing, and industrial sectors.
