Job Title: Nuclear Medicine TechnologistDuration: 3-Month Contract (W2)Location: Houston, TX (Onsite)Position Overview Seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with strong PET (Positron Emission Tomography) experience to support imaging services in a fast-paced clinical environment. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Candidates should be adaptable, team-oriented, and eager to learn in a collaborative setting.Schedule will primarily cover full-time hours Wednesday through Saturday, with flexibility based on patient volume.Key Responsibilities Perform Nuclear Medicine and PET imaging proceduresPrepare and administer radiopharmaceuticalsConduct patient assessments, IV insertion, patient screening, and educationMonitor patient safety and respond appropriately to emergency situationsFollow ALARA radiation safety guidelines and infection control protocolsMaintain imaging rooms, supplies, and radioactive material compliance standardsAccurately document patient information and imaging recordsIdentify and escalate critical imaging findings when necessarySupport patient care across assigned imaging areas and off-site locations as neededQualifications Required Associate's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related fieldARRT or NMTCB certificationTexas Medical Board (TMB) CMRT licenseCPR certificationMinimum 1 year of Nuclear Medicine/PET imaging experience(Recent graduates with clinical experience may be considered)Preferred Bachelor's degreePET certificationACLS, PALS, or PEARS certificationsAdditional Nuclear Medicine or imaging experienceAdditional Information Primary focus in PET imagingTraining available for strong candidates with a positive attitude and willingness to learnVirtual interview processOnsite role requiring schedule flexibility based on patient care needs
