Your mission is to make engineering and field execution dramatically more efficient, help the customer stand out from competitors, and support safe, high‐quality electrical work that builds critical infrastructure. You'll do this by shipping product features end‐to‐end across mobile, web, and backend, and by applying machine learning where it creates real leverage.You'll partner closely with a forward‐deployed Program Manager and work directly with customer stakeholders, as well as the rest of our engineering + customer delivery team. Early work will emphasize rapid delivery and learning on‐site in Buffalo (including in‐field) while establishing foundations that scale across many customers.What you'll doShip customer‐facing full‐stack product features from concept to production across web, mobile, and backend.Build and deliver polished, end‐to‐end technology that makes Condoit fast, reliable, and delightful for engineers and field electricians.Speed data ingestion and create ML‐assisted automationBuild pipelines and services that turn legacy documentation for complex, multi‐variate systems into structured records and update them over timeApply vision, OCR, and large model techniques where they reduce manual work and increase accuracy, and establish evaluation and feedback loops including labeling, quality metrics, and human‐in‐the‐loop review.Improve reliability, scale, and maintainabilityOwn reliability for critical workflows with sensible service level objectives, observability, and idempotency/distributed systems design.You *won't* neglect the docs, tests, and internal tooling that help your coworkers ship safely and maintain robustly.Qualifications7+ years professional software engineering with a track record of shipping end‐to‐end product featuresStrong product instincts, great written communication, and comfort working directly with customers on‐siteComfortable in TypeScript and modern web or mobile development; comfortable in Python for data and ML workflowsExperience building data‐intensive backend services, including cloud‐based relational databases such as Postgres, message queues, and object storagePractical machine learning experience, or a strong track record applying OCR, vision, or large language model tools to real products with measurement and iteration.
