Senior Biostatistician

This is an opportunity to join a high-growth biostatistics department within a mid-cap sponsor company. We are specifically looking for doctoral candidates in Biostatistics or Statistics who will be defending their dissertations and graduating in May 2026. This team build is designed to integrate emerging technical experts into a collaborative environment where they will have direct influence on clinical development strategy.As a Biostatistician at a sponsor company, you will move beyond supporting academic research and into a role where your analysis drives regulatory submissions and drug approvals. You will be responsible for applying advanced statistical methodologies to complex clinical data, ensuring the integrity of trial designs, and collaborating across functional areas to interpret results that impact patient lives. Core ResponsibilitiesLead statistical contributions for clinical study protocols, including study design, sample size calculations, and randomization schemes. Develop and review Statistical Analysis Plans (SAPs) and provide oversight for the generation of tables, figures, and listings. Collaborate with clinical, regulatory, and programming teams to ensure data strategy aligns with global regulatory requirements.Apply innovative statistical approaches to solve complex data challenges within specific therapeutic areas. Present statistical findings and interpretations to internal leadership and contribute to regulatory documentation. RequirementsPhD in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a closely related quantitative field (expected graduation May 2026).Advanced proficiency in R or SAS for clinical data analysis. Strong theoretical foundation in trial design, longitudinal data analysis, and survival analysis. Ability to translate complex statistical concepts for non-statistical stakeholders.
