Escrow Assistant

Overview:We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Escrow Assistant to support our escrow and closing team in a fast-paced title company environment. This position plays an important role in ensuring real estate transactions move efficiently from contract to closing while providing excellent customer service to buyers, sellers, lenders, agents, and attorneys.The ideal candidate is organized, professional, able to multitask effectively, and comfortable handling confidential information with accuracy and urgency.Responsibilities/Job Duties:·        Assist escrow officers and closers with residential and/or commercial real estate transactions ·        Prepare closing documentation ·        Order payoffs, tax certificates, surveys, HOA information, and other closing-related items ·        Communicate with realtors, lenders, buyers, sellers, and other parties throughout the transaction ·        Review files for completeness and accuracy prior to closing ·        Schedule closings and coordinate signing appointments ·        Prepare and distribute documents and closing packages ·        Assist with funding and post-closing tasks ·        Maintain organized electronic and physical files while ensuring compliance with company proceduresPreferred Qualifications:·        Previous escrow, title, mortgage, or real estate experience preferred ·        Strong organizational skills and attention to detail ·        Excellent written and verbal communication skills ·        Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment·        Able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines while being detail-oriented and accurate ·        Ability to multi-task while being detail-oriented, professional, and punctual·        Proficiency with Microsoft Office and escrow/title software ·        Professional demeanor and strong customer service skills ·        Ability to work independently and as part of a team·        Analyze issues relating to closing and resolve them in a timely and confidential mannerAbout Hooks Title:Hooks Title is focused on providing extreme customer service and best-value title insurance and escrow services.
