Professional Engineer

DescriptionB&H is seeking a registered professional engineer competent in structural engineering associated with building design and construction. Must be self-motivated and able to work independently on a variety of projects. Problem solving skills as well as good written and verbal communication skills are required.Duties and Responsibilities This is a full-time on-site role based in Cranberry Twp., P,A for a Professional Engineer at Barber & Hoffman, Inc. The Professional Engineer will be responsible for structural analysis and design, performing calculations, using engineering software programs, and project coordination. Manage typical projects while overseeing designers and technicians assisting with project tasks. Assemble design documents including drawings, specifications, calculations, and reports. Coordinate project structural requirements with clients.RequirementsLicensed professional engineer4 to 10 years of relevant work experienceCompetent in aspects of structural engineering and drafting software including Bentley’s RAM products, Microsoft Office, and RevitAbility to manage a variety of projects with designers and techniciansEffective communication skills for client collaboration
