Repair Technician

Job Description Job Summary:Diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of material handling equipment at our facility such as forklifts, personal and burden carriers, pallet jacks, dock doors and levelers.Key Responsibilities:Diagnose and Repair: Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues.Routine Maintenance: Perform scheduled inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure safety and the optimal performance of equipment.Utilize Diagnostic Tools: Use specialized diagnostic software, tools, and equipment manuals to identify and resolve equipment malfunctions efficiently.Customer Service: Communicate effectively with clients, addressing concerns and providing clear explanations of repair procedures.Follow Defined Process: Accurately document all repairs, maintenance activities, and parts used in service reports, ensuring comprehensive service records.Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to all safety protocols and industry regulations while performing repairs and maintenance.Quality Assurance: Ensure all equipment adheres to industry standards and company policies for performance and safety.Independence: Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and handle multiple repair tasks concurrently.Driver's License: A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.Physical Requirements: Must have the physical capability to lift and move heavy equipment as needed.Monday - Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
