Protential is dedicated to transforming the lives of at-risk youth through the power of soccer, using the game as a vehicle to drive academic excellence, character and leadership development and workforce readiness in the next generation. Our innovative, high-impact programs provide mentorship, skill-building, and access to life-changing opportunities for underserved children and youth , ensuring that every young person—regardless of background—has a pathway to success. Through after-school initiatives, youth leadership development, and community-based service learning, we equip our student athletes not just to excel on the field, but to become confident, resilient, and future-ready leaders in their communities. By blending the passion of sports with academic rigor, career preparation, and values-based mentorship, Protential Foundation empowers youth to dream bigger, work harder, and build a future filled with purpose , possibility and prosperity Protential Foundation has two flagship programs, each designed to create meaningful impact by equipping youth with critical life skills, leadership development, and career-building opportunities through the power of soccer. Passport to Prosperity (PTP) Passport to Prosperity ( PTP ) This pioneering after-school program is designed for 1st - 5th grade elementary school students, integrating soccer training with academic enrichment and character development in a unique and holistic manner. By bridging the gap in access to education, employment opportunities, and organized sports among low-income students and minorities. Protential Youth Leadership Academy The Protential Youth Leadership Academy is a transformational program designed to equip high-potential student-athletes with the leadership, workforce, and service skills needed to thrive in sports, education, and beyond cultivating future leaders, innovators, and game-changers.
Member Duties : 1. Deepening Community Collaboration : Through structured community needs assessments, ensuring our programs remain responsive, culturally competent, and reflective of stakeholder input. Creating standardized assessment tools, training staff and volunteers in data collection and increasing our presence at community events. 2. Expanding Volunteer Engagement : Strengthening our volunteer recruitment and training program by enhancing onboarding procedures, developing training materials for various volunteer demographics (high school, college students, corporate employees, parents, and seniors), and establishing a volunteer management system that can accommodate these distinct groups. 3. Diversifying Funding Steams to better meet local community needs : Undertake resource development initiatives forging strategic partnerships and preparing compelling fundraising proposals, by cultivating relationships with local businesses, philanthropic organizations, and public agencies.
