One Family.Purpose StatementThe Forklift Operator operates an assigned vehicle in a safe and courteous manner in addition to following company and warehouse GMP’s.Key Accountabilities And OutcomesMaintains defensive drivingMaintains trailer clean and free of contaminants and pestProvides a communication link between customers and staffFollow company food safety and security procedures for transporting raw and finished good productsAssists warehouse personnel with the loading and unloading of products and operates forklifts as neededReads and interprets maps and driving directions to plan the most efficient route service for customers and reads and interprets road signs in EnglishKeeps the assigned vehicle(s) clean inside and outsideMaintains accurate, up-to-date records on trip sheets, customer transportation forms, vehicle maintenance, fuel purchases, incident reports, accident reports, vehicle condition reports and other records that are requested from managementAssists in cycle counts and inventoryKnowledge, Skills, And ExperienceHigh School Diploma1 to 2 years of experienceStand-Up Forklift Experience a plusWork in Freezer EnvironmentExperience with RF ScanningPublic Safety and Security — Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state, or national security operations for the protection of people, data, property, and institutions.English Language — Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.Customer and Personal Service — Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
