Steves & Sons, Inc., a sixth-generation, family-owned door manufacturer with over 160 years of craftsmanship and innovation, is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead and strengthen our quality management systems across manufacturing operations.This leadership role is responsible for driving quality excellence, ensuring regulatory compliance, improving production processes, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization.Position SummaryThe Quality Manager will oversee all aspects of quality assurance and quality control within the facility, including process standardization, audits, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and cross-functional quality initiatives. This individual will work closely with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Executive Leadership to ensure product integrity, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the facility’s Quality Management System (QMS)Develop, implement, and maintain quality standards, procedures, and controlsDrive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and root cause analysis methodologiesOversee internal audits, external audits, and compliance requirementsAnalyze quality data and KPIs to identify trends and implement corrective actionsManage customer complaints and ensure timely resolution through structured problem-solving processesPartner with production and engineering teams to reduce defects and improve first-pass yieldLead supplier quality initiatives and vendor performance reviewsTrain and mentor quality team members to build internal capabilityEnsure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and industry standardsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Management, or related field (preferred)7+ years of progressive experience in quality management within a manufacturing environmentStrong knowledge of quality systems, statistical process control (SPC), and audit proceduresExperience implementing Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma methodologiesProven leadership experience managing teams in a production environmentStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsExcellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilitiesExperience in building materials or manufacturing industries is a plusWhat We OfferCompetitive compensationComprehensive benefits packageOpportunity to lead quality initiatives within a respected, established manufacturing organizationCollaborative leadership environment with direct impact on operational performanceAt Steves & Sons, we are committed to excellence in craftsmanship, innovation, and customer satisfaction.
