Senior Counsel - RemoteThis role will serve as the primary legal resource responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of strategic partnership contracting. You will play a vital part in supporting corporate development initiatives by negotiating a wide range of agreements and facilitating cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with commercial agreements and the capability to effectively advise internal stakeholders on legal risks. This is a unique opportunity to impact contracting strategies and compliance in a dynamic environment while working remotely. AccountabilitiesWork closely with business leaders to develop and drive contracting strategies related to strategic partnerships. Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of vendor and partnership agreements. Advise internal stakeholders on contract interpretation and compliance requirements. Maintain databases for vendor and partnership contracts. Prepare legal summaries and risk assessments on contract terms. Support contract management processes and implement workflow improvements. Coordinate with various teams on contract requirements and issues. Facilitate meetings to resolve contract-related challenges. Train non-legal teams on contract processes and legal requirements. RequirementsJuris Doctor (JD) degree and active bar membership. 8-10 years of legal experience, preferably in-house or at a major law firm. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with stakeholders. Proven ability to negotiate complex agreements considering various legal and commercial factors. Prior experience with M&A or complex deal structuring is preferred. Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships within the legal department. Self-motivated with the capability to work independently in a remote setup. Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail for contract review and drafting.
