Project Manager

Job Title: Project ManagerJob DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) Projects in the Lexington area. The successful candidate will be responsible for project management, client communication, and the completion of production/design tasks using Revit software. This role requires a professional with over 5 years of experience in the MEP industry, preferably with prior project management experience.Responsibilities+ Design commercial, medical, multi-family, and industrial building mechanical systems, including HVAC ductwork, VRF, geothermal, steam, hot and chilled water systems, and plumbing systems.+ Represent the company in meetings with architects, owners, and clients.+ Conduct site investigations and document findings.+ Coordinate with all project partners to ensure no surprises during construction.+ Develop creative design solutions to provide the most efficient and cost-effective systems to meet client needs and desires.+ Review and respond to contractor submittals, RFIs, and Change Proposals, ensuring adherence to design standards.Essential Skills+ Minimum 5 years of applicable experience in the MEP industry.+ Expert skill level in Revit MEP modeling.+ Professional Engineer's License is strongly preferred.+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.+ Strong attention to detail and the ability to check own work.+ Ability to work independently and manage time and priorities.+ Proficiency in leading, directing, and training a team of designers and draftspeople.Additional Skills & Qualifications+ AutoCAD 2D skills are beneficial.+ Desire to be a team player.+ Willingness to work overtime on occasion.Work EnvironmentThe role requires working 5 days in the office as part of a team of 10, adhering strictly to a 40-hour work week.
