Frontend Architect (React)

Role: Frontend Architect (React)Location: Nashville, TN (Onsite)Duration: 12 monthsWe are seeking an experienced Frontend Architect with deep expertise in React.js to design, develop, and optimize scalable, high-performance front-end applications. The role involves setting architectural standards, guiding development teams, and ensuring the adoption of best practices to deliver modern, user-friendly, and maintainable web solutions.Key Responsibilities:Define and own the frontend architecture roadmap, focusing on scalability, performance, and maintainability.Lead the design and development of complex React-based applications.Establish coding standards, UI/UX guidelines, and reusable component libraries.Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless user experiences.Evaluate and recommend new frontend tools, frameworks, and technologies.Conduct code reviews, mentor developers, and ensure adherence to best practices.Optimize application performance (rendering, bundle size, caching, etc.).Ensure applications follow security standards and compliance guidelines.Drive continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) for frontend codebases.Required Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.8+ years of experience in front-end development with at least 3+ years in a technical/architect role.Expert knowledge of React.js, Redux (or similar state management), TypeScript, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).Strong experience with frontend build tools (Webpack, Babel, Vite, etc.).Solid understanding of REST APIs, GraphQL, and micro-frontend architectures.Hands-on experience with UI frameworks (Material-UI, Tailwind, Chakra UI, etc.).Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) is a plus.Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, React Testing Library).Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Next.js or other SSR (Server-Side Rendering) frameworks.Exposure to performance monitoring tools (New Relic, Datadog, Lighthouse).Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG, ARIA).Prior experience in leading large-scale web application projects.Why Join Us?Opportunity to define and influence frontend architecture at scale.Work with a talented and collaborative team.Competitive compensation and benefits package.Exposure to modern technologies and enterprise-level projects.
