We are seeking a Registered Nurse / RN Case Manager to work the day shift 8am to 4:30pm with 1 weekend rotating in Tallahassee, FL. Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams to ensure appropriate level of care, resource utilization, and patient throughput. Perform utilization review and evaluate admissions/observation status for medical necessity while communicating with payors and providers. Collaborate with physicians, families, and healthcare staff to remove barriers to care, improve outcomes, and ensure regulatory compliance and proper documentation.Qualifications for the Registered Nurse / RN Case Manager opening:Must have 3 recent years of Case Management experience within an acute settingAccepting Case Manager’s with home health and insurance if prior acute experience is relevantAssociated Degree Required, Current FL Licensure or Compact Licensure Accepted
