Structural Engineer

OverviewA leading multidisciplinary consulting firm is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to support a diverse portfolio of projects across commercial, residential, and institutional sectors. This role involves both new design and structural rehabilitation, with opportunities to contribute to complex and technically challenging work.Key ResponsibilitiesLead structural design and analysis for new and existing buildingsPerform calculations for steel, concrete, masonry, and timber systemsDevelop construction documents, drawings, and specificationsConduct site inspections, condition assessments, and field investigationsSupport structural rehabilitation and restoration projectsCollaborate with architects, consultants, and internal teamsReview shop drawings and respond to RFIsMentor junior engineers and contribute to team developmentQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred)Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or working toward licensure6+ years of relevant structural engineering experienceStrong knowledge of US building codes and standards (IBC, ASCE, ACI, etc.)Experience with structural analysis software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, RAM, RISA)Excellent communication and project coordination skillsPreferred ExperienceExperience with structural rehabilitation or adaptive reuseExposure to façade support systems or building envelope coordinationForensic investigation or condition assessment experience (a plus)Experience working on mid- to high-rise structuresWhat’s OfferedCompetitive salary and performance-based bonusesClear path for career progression and leadership opportunitiesExposure to complex, high-impact projectsCollaborative and technically driven team environment
