Stocker/Cashier

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cashier/Stocker to join our team. In this dual role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service at the cash register while also ensuring that our shelves are well-stocked and organized. This position requires a proactive individual who can handle various tasks efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment. Responsibilities Operate the cash register, process transactions, and handle customer inquiries with professionalism and courtesy. Utilize RF scanners to manage inventory and assist in stock replenishment. Load and unload merchandise, ensuring products are handled safely and efficiently. Stock shelves with merchandise, maintaining organization and cleanliness in the store. Collaborate with team members to ensure optimal product placement and availability. Assist customers with product selections and provide information on promotions or sales. Maintain knowledge of retail math to accurately process transactions and manage cash handling duties. Operate pallet jacks as needed for moving heavy items throughout the store. Qualifications Previous experience in a retail environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with RF scanners and retail sales processes is a plus. Strong communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly valued. Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, loading, and unloading merchandise. Basic understanding of retail math principles to assist with sales transactions effectively. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to providing excellent customer service.
