IT Security Architect

Technical/Functional Skills: Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks (e.g.,NIST, ISO 27001), and best practices.Experience with security technologies such as firewalls, intrusiondetection/prevention systems, SIEM, DLP, and encryption.Familiarity with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid cloudenvironments.Knowledge of network security, application security, and endpointprotection.Roles & Responsibilities:Strategic Planning:Develop and maintain the enterprise security architecture framework.Align security initiatives with enterprise IT strategy and businessgoals.Understanding on internal and external security assessments andaudits to manage enterprise risks.Architecture Design:Having Handson experience on multi- cloud and Hybrid environmentsDesign and implement security strategy with design principlesEnsure that security architecture meets regulatory and compliancerequirements.Develop security policies, standards, and guidelines for systemarchitecture.Implementation & Integration:Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate securitypractices into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).Implement security controls and countermeasures to protect againstthreats.Oversee the deployment of security solutions and ensure theireffective operation.Risk Management:Conduct threat modeling and vulnerability assessments.Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.Monitor and analyze security incidents to identify root causes andimplement corrective actions.Collaboration & Leadership:Provide guidance and mentorship to junior security staff and otherteam members.Work with stakeholders across the organization to promote securityawareness and best practices.Liaise with external partners, vendors, and regulatory bodies asneeded.Generic Managerial Skills Status reportingConnect with customerEnvision Risk and mitigate the sameProject planning
