This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of our aftermarket offerings and make a lasting impact on both our organization and our customers.Principle Duties and ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership in Aftermarket OperationsOversee the development and execution of the organization's aftermarket technology strategy to drive revenue growth, improve customer satisfaction, and ensure competitive differentiation.Lead cross-functional teams to identify market trends and customer needs, aligning aftermarket services, products, and technologies with overall business objectives.Lead the Fairbanks Morse Defense Technology TeamSpearhead the adoption and integration of cutting-edge technologies (e.g., IoT, AI, machine learning, predictive analytics) to enhance aftermarket services such as maintenance, repair, diagnostics, and parts supply.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize service offerings, reduce downtime, and improve operational efficiency for customers.Customer-Centric SolutionsDevelop and implement customer-focused aftermarket programs and solutions, ensuring alignment with client needs and industry best practices.Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders, ensuring a seamless experience and high levels of satisfaction.Financial and Performance AccountabilityEstablish and manage budgets, forecasts, and key performance metrics to achieve aftermarket revenue and profitability targets.Monitor aftermarket business performance and implement corrective actions to address gaps and capitalize on new opportunities.Team Building and Cross-Functional CollaborationBuild, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of professionals fostering a culture of growth, innovation, accountability, and collaboration.Work closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure alignment and integration of aftermarket technologies with core business functions.Qualifications and Educational RequirementsBachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or a related fieldA minimum of ten years' experience in a manufacturing company5 years of leadership experience is preferredCommercial experience is preferredEngineering leadership experience is preferredNaval marine market experience is preferredMust possess a high degree of organization skills and have a high level of oral and written communications skillsMust demonstrate ability to maintain a high level of customer relations skillsDue to requirements of government contracts, must be U.S. Citizen.This position requires access or potential access to Unclassified Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information, which is Not Releasable to Foreign Nationals (NOFORN) data.
