Quality Control Inspector
*Job Overview*
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Control Inspector to join our manufacturing team. Under the direction of the Quality Control and Safety Supervisor, this position is responsible for the detailed inspection of the modules produced in accordance with the established Quality Control Program. *Responsibilities*
* Reviews the highlighted areas with the supervisor/crew leader prior to the work being done in that department. This requires a face-to-face discussion at the time the work is to begin on that unit.
* Verifies these highlighted areas have been constructed properly on the floors manufactured for that building in that department. If it has not been manufactured properly, prepare a Q.C. In Process Inspection (IIP) report, this report is to be given to the Assistant Production Manager for his information and action.
* Conducts final inspection of the completed building and release for invoice and transport.
* Prepares Q.C. Inspection In Process (IIP) reports as necessary.
* Conducts 100% inspections of the following work/material:
A. Compliance with State Traveler
B. Watch List Items
C. Highlighted Items
D. Roof tops
E. Final Finish
* Conducts spot check inspections as directed by the QA Supervisor and/or as deemed appropriate.
* Video tapes ship loose on various buildings as directed by the QA Supervisor.
* Advises QA Supervisor when building is ready for invoicing.
* Calls any unusual or questionable quality items to the attention of the line Supervisor and the QA Supervisor.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
*Experience Helpful But Willing To Train:*
* Familiarity with mechanical blueprint interpretation, GD&T principles, and basic math skills for measurement calculations.
* Ability to perform detailed analysis using data collection methods and generate reports for management review.
* Mechanical knowledge combined with an understanding of manufacturing processes enhances inspection accuracy.
* Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify deviations from quality standards promptly.
* Strong communication skills for collaboration with production teams and documentation of inspection results.
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
