Lead Performance Engineer
We are looking for a skilled Lead Performance Engineer to design, develop, and execute performance testing strategies for enterprise and cloud-based applications. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with JMeter, Load runner, K6, Gatling, Data Dog, Dynatrace skills, and solid expertise in API, Web and automation testing. Candidate will work closely with development, QA, DevOps, and architecture teams to ensure applications are scalable, reliable, and performant.Key Responsibilities12+ Yrs of experience in Performance EngineeringDesign, develop, and maintain performance test scripts using Apache JMeter or similar tools for web, API, and backend systemsConduct load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing for applications and microservicesDesign, develop, and maintain automated test suites for Next.js applications, covering unit, integration, and E2E tests.Perform API performance testing (REST/JSON, SOAP) and integrate with automation frameworksAnalyze test results, identify performance bottlenecks, and provide actionable recommendationsMonitor system performance metrics (CPU, memory, GC, I/O, network) during test executionCollaborate with development and DevOps teams to optimize application and infrastructure performanceIntegrate performance tests into CI/CD pipelinesPrepare detailed performance test reports and present findings to stakeholdersContinuously improve testing frameworks, tools, and best practicesRequired Skills & QualificationsStrong experience in performance testing and engineering best practicesHands-on expertise with Apache JMeter (test plans, scripting, listeners, distributed testing)Front end performance testing experience on Next.js applicationDesign and deployment of performance test frameworkExperience with API automation and performance testing (REST, SOAP)Knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS protocols, JSON, XMLExperience with performance monitoring tools (APM, server logs, JVM monitoring)Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, etc.)Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
